USA provides 100 ventilators to Bangladesh through USAID, US Embassy

To assist fight against CoVID-19, United States donates 100 ventilators to Bangladesh through the US Embassy in Dhaka and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Earl Miller, US Embassador to Bangladesh, was present to hand over the state-of-the-art ventilators at Kurmitola Hospital on Sunday.

The ventilators can help save lives for patients affected by Coronavirus struggling to breathe.

The support builds on the ‘Strengthening Public Health Cooperation for a Safer Economy’ goal outlined in the September 30th high-level consultation between United States and Bangladesh to develop a Vision for Advancing the US-Bangladesh Economic Partnership.
