“না বলা কথাগুলো না বলেই হোক বলা” (Let the unspoken tales to be expressed without speech). These are the words lived by performers of the Dhaka University Mime Action (DUMA).
Since 2011, DUMA, founded by Mir Lokman, has worked in over 500 performances in Bangladesh, Armenia, India, China and South Korea and has won 10+ awards. Through the art of pantomime (মূকাভিনয়), the performers have brought to life social issues such as rape and public awareness for issues across the town.
