The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Bangladesh have forged a significant partnership with a $250 million loan agreement aimed at strengthening Bangladesh’s social protection system. Signed on Monday at the Economic Relations Division (ERD) in the capital, Dhaka, the agreement was formalized by Md Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Secretary of ERD, and Edimon Ginting, ADB’s Country Director.
