BRAC and The MetLife Foundation have launched a transformative program to assist 3,300 families in the Barind Tract regions of Chapai Nawabganj, Joypurhat, Naogaon, and Rajshahi. This initiative aims to help these families rise out of ultra-poverty by leveraging BRAC’s renowned Graduation approach, a model recognized globally for its effectiveness in eradicating poverty.
BRAC has pledged Taka 7 crore to the ‘Dakche Amar Desh’ (Bangladesh is Calling) relief fund, while BRAC Bank PLC has committed Taka 3 crore to support families affected by Cyclone Remal.
