Shahjalal Islami Bank at Distributes relief materials at Araihazar

The relief materials were distributed among unemployed working people in Panchrukhi and Chhanpara areas of Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj while maintaining proper social distance and safety measures.

Due to the spread of the novel corona virus (Covid-19) and the long lockdown in Bangladesh, thousands of working people in different parts of the country have lost their jobs and are at risk of starvation. In this context, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has taken steps to distribute relief items among the unemployed and distressed people in different parts of the country as part of its corporate social responsibility.

As a parrt of its campaign, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited distributed relief materials on Wednesday among unemployed people in Panchrukhi and Chhanpara areas of Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj district. The relief materials were distributed among thousands of unemployed working people while maintaining proper social distance and safety measures.

As relief package to each family, 05 kg of rice, 02 kg of pulses, 01 kg of oil, 02 kg of onion, 02 kg of potatoes, 01 kg of salt, 01 kg of sugar, 02 packets of semai, 500 g of powdered milk, 100 g of turmeric powder, 100 g Chili powder, and 01 piece of soap have been distributed.
