According to a press release, Uzma Chowdhury, chairman of the nursing college and director of Corporate Finance at Pran-RFL Group, inaugurated the college through a program on Monday.
Earlier, the conglomerate launched a 50 bedded hospital in Natore.
In order to improve the health care system in the regions of Rajshahi and Natore, the organisation opened a nursing college.
A vast campus, a contemporary lab, a training facility, an experienced instructor with a PhD, and affordable housing for the students are just a few of the amenities available to produce professional human resources in the nursing industry.
“Nursing is a very noble profession around the globe, and it has tremendous need in the country,” Uzma Chowdhury said in her address to the event. If students are able to receive a regular education via nursing college, the profession may play a significant role. To help the healthcare industry, we started the nursing college.
She also added: “The group aims to create employment in the country through the business initiative. We have already employed more than 1,40,000 people directly in our workplace. Our dream, the students will serve the nation after acquiring the proper knowledge from our nursing college. Therefore, we have some hospitals in different locations including Natore, Narsingdi and Habiganj and the students will get job opportunities there.”
At the inauguration ceremony were Hazrat Ali, general manager of the Pran Agro Limited facility, and Touhiduzzaman, assistant general manager of public relations for the Pran-RFL Group.
