News by The Financial Express: 2000 helpless families get food gift from CSR Window Bangladesh

Around 2000 helpless families of 18 districts have received necessary food items as gift from CSR Window Bangladesh, a voluntary organisation with the support of IDLC Finance Limited.

The organisation distributed the gifts under its three-phase food basket project, named Somporko (the Relation) in Chandpur, Nilphamari, Brahmanbaria, Shariatpur, Tangail, Naogaon, Sirajganj, Pabna, Jhenidah, Natore, Chuadanga, Habiganj, Bhola, Sylhet, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Kurigram and Rajshahi districts.

They distributed rice, dal, oil, potato, onion, soap and other essential products through their local ambassadors, according to the press release.

Before that, CSR Window Bangladesh arranged some programmes to create awareness among 8.0 million people across the country about social distancing, community mobilisation, safety procedure, washing hands, and staying safe at home.

Ahsan Rony, Coordinator of CSR Window Bangladesh said that they will do something for the welfare of the society as believe in relation.
