Modhumoti Bank Donates Tk 0.5 Million to Film Festival in CSR Initiative

Modhumoti Bank, in a noble gesture as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, generously contributed Tk 0.5 million to support the Bangladesh International Short and Independent Film Festival.

The symbolic act of philanthropy took place at the heart of Dhaka, Modhumoti Bank’s head office, where Md Shafiul Azam, the esteemed managing director and CEO, handed over the donation cheque to Syed Imran Hussain Kirmany, the festival’s dedicated director.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of key figures from Modhumoti Bank, including Shahnawaj Chowdhury, the additional managing director, Arab Fazlur Rahman, the deputy managing director and chief risk officer, and Kamrul Hasan Khan, the deputy managing director and chief business officer. Their attendance underscored the bank’s commitment to supporting cultural endeavors and fostering the growth of independent filmmaking in Bangladesh. This collaborative effort between Modhumoti Bank and the film festival highlights the importance of corporate entities actively engaging in the enrichment of arts and culture within their communities.
