During a meeting with visiting journalists from Bangladesh at the Mindray headquarters in Shenzhen, Gary Guo, the company’s Sales and Marketing Manager for In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) in South Asia, revealed this plan. The gathering was facilitated by the Chinese Embassy’s office in Dhaka.
Guo outlined the company’s strategic vision, expressing intentions to further expand into Dhaka, recognizing the country’s rapid growth. Presently, Mindray operates through selling agents in Dhaka and has already secured contracts with the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Discussions are underway with Ibn Sina Hospital for further collaboration.
Founded in 1991, Mindray boasts an extensive network with branch offices across 30 provinces and autonomous regions in China, as well as over 50 overseas subsidiaries, as presented to the visiting delegation. Notably, the company reported an annual revenue of $4.39 billion in 2022.

With 12 research and innovation centers, comprising 24% of its workforce, the company remains at the forefront of medical technology advancement. Its annual device production capacity stands at an impressive 800,000 units.
