IDLC Finance Limited in partnership with Alokito Shishu built a primary school for the Bede Community in Malkhanagar, a village in Munshiganj. The school now provides education support for 45 students in the village.
The school was officially inaugurated on 11th July, 2019. Arif Khan, Managing Director & CEO of IDLC Finance Limited, Md. Farid Mia, assistant headmaster of the Malkhanagar High School and Media Personality Shabnam Faria were present in the inauguration. Arif Khan said, “Quality education is a basic right for every children. IDLC will keep working to ensure even the minority of the society gets their rights even in remote areas.”
