Significant progress has been made in implementing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy at G4S, with a strong commitment to long-term CSR goals. A welfare policy has been actively implemented to ensure the well-being of frontline employees, particularly the Guards. These employees are provided with the best facilities in the security industry, including a competitive pay package, provident fund, paid leave, subsidized accommodation, insurance coverage for hospitalization and medical expenses, and a suitable gratuity scheme. A company hotline has been established for any unresolved grievances or complaints.
An annual “Happy Day” program has been arranged by G4S Bangladesh for underprivileged children. The main objective of this event is to bring joy to these children and make them feel special, as a way of giving back to the community and helping those who are less fortunate.
Youth talent has been nurtured through initiatives such as the G4S 4teen program, which has supported individuals like Sharmin Akter, who has represented Bangladesh in shooting for over seven years.
A Diversity and Inclusive Policy has been designed to support underrepresented segments of society. The policy aims to recruit, retain, and develop a diverse, high-performance workforce from all segments of society, with a strong emphasis on fairness, diversity, and inclusion.
As part of CSR activities, jobs have been provided to over 600 underprivileged individuals annually through partnerships with various NGOs, including the Community Development Centre (CODEC), Shariatpur Development Society (SDS), Center for Community Development Assistance, and Christian Missionary.
Since its establishment, more than 57,000 jobs have been created by G4S Bangladesh, and efforts continue to train and develop efficient manpower in the security sector.
