The Food Delivery Service Foodpanda allows its clients across Bangladesh to donate digitally to its partner NGOs directly from the platform.

The Five NGOs currently under the company’s CSR initiative are Bidyanondo Foundation, It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF), Footsteps Bangladesh, JAAGO Foundation, and Bangladesh Cancer Aid Trust (BANCAT).

“Nationwide, thousands of households are facing challenges that have only been exacerbated by the pandemic,” said Ambareen Reza, managing director and co-founder of foodpanda Bangladesh.

“As a company committed to serving communities, we feel we must support those in need. Last year, during Ramadan, we received great response and engagement from our customers. So, once again, we encourage our community to step forward, and help those in need by donating via the foodpanda app or website. We also invite other organizations to join us in helping the vulnerable citizens,” Reza added.

With over 4 million users signing up in the course of the last 7 years, Foodpanda currently has around 35 thousand restaurant and shop partners on its platform.
