EBL donated Tk100 million to Bangabandhu Memorial Trust

Chairman of Eastern Bank Limited Md. Showkat Ali Chowdhury handed over a cheque for Tk 10.00 (Ten) Crore to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for observing the ‘Mujib Borsho’ across the country to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Gono bhaban on Monday 6 January 2020. Managing Director and CEO of the bank Ali Reza Iftekhar was also present during the cheque handover ceremony.
