Distribution of relief materials by Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited in Dhaka, Noakhali

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has recently distributed relief items among the unemployed working people of Nawabganj, Dhaka and Begumganj, Noakhali.

Thousands of working people in different parts of the country have been left jobless due to rising corona and prolonged lockdowns in Bangladesh. In that context, Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has taken steps to distribute relief goods among the unemployed and distressed people in different parts of the country as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Akkach Uddin Mollah, director and former chairman of the bank, distributed the relief items among the unemployed working people.

As relief, 2 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of oil, 2 packets of semai, 1 piece of soap and 1 packet of powdered milk have been distributed to thousands of families.
