DBL Group supports “Mini Fire Station”

The Mini Fire Station (MFS) is DBL Group’s first public-private partnership, which is in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zussamenarbeit Bangladesh (GIZ) and the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence (BFSCD).

Already in operation, the objective of the MFS rapid response and risk reduction unit is to prevent fire in the industrial buildings around Kashimpur, Gazipur area. The unit is located outside the Jinnat Complex of DBL Group which is also serving the community in the Kashimpur-Konabari industrial cluster. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day with a target to respond within the first 10-15 minutes to both industrial fire and building collapse. Since August 2017 when it started operation the Mini Fire Station has responded to 160 fire incidents. Asset recovered till May 2020 is BDT 636,130,000 which is approximately Euro 6.69 million. We are proud to be an integral part of the first ever Mini Fire Station of the country.
