Daraz Bangladesh to Support 172 Students through ‘Ek Goal e Double Khushi’ Campaign

Daraz Online Shopping, the country’s leading online marketplace, had announced its FIFA World Cup 2022 special CSR initiative called ‘Ek Goal e Double Khushi.' Following this initiative, Daraz pledged to fund a child's education for each goal scored during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. With a record of 172 goals, 172 students from JAAGO Foundation received one month's sponsorship for education from Daraz under the Sponsor a Child programme.

Following the cheque handover, the campaign ended with a friendly match between Daraz Cares Club, the social club of Daraz Bangladesh and JAAGO Students. AHM Hasinul Quddus (Rusho), Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Daraz Bangladesh, also joined the match with the children. Korvi Rakshand, Founder of JAAGO Foundation, said, “Ek Goal e Double Khushi was an innovative attempt to prolong the celebration over each goal, regardless of the winning team. We hope more companies will follow Daraz in leveraging the national celebration by giving back to society besides their promotional offers.
