The PPEs were handed over under the supervision of Golam Dastagir Gazi, Textiles and Jute Minister and chairman of Gazi Group. Gazi Group on Monday provided personal protective equipments (PPEs) for health workers, including doctors, at two hospitals in the capital to prevent the transmission of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. These PPEs were handed over to Mugda Medical College Hospital and the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), under the supervision of Golam Dastagir Gazi, Textiles and Jute Minister and chairman of Gazi Group, said a press release. Ninety-five sets of PPE were handed over to Prof Dr Rubina Yasmin, departmental head of Medicine Dept. of the Mugda Medical College & Hospital, while 90 more were handed over to Prof Dr Md Abdul Rauf, head of the Respiratory Medicine Department at NIDCH.
