Chitrokarkhana celebrated its year-end event “Sharing Happiness” in a great style in partnership with Amal Foundation, LEEDO Peace Home, and the University of West of England Bristol.
According to a news release, they handed new clothing, winter assistance, toys, stationery goods, books, health and hygiene packs, and basic grocery items to the impoverished individuals at the event.
Chitrokarkhana and its supporting organizations sought to deliver smiles to 600 people this year.
The festival began on December 17 and ran till this Saturday at various locations across the city.
Other prominent people in attendance included Esrat Karim Eve, founder and director of Amal Foundation; Ahmed Farhan Muqeem, managing partner of Swadeshi Uddakta; and Mohaiminul Raqib, creator and director of Bangladesh Integrated Human Development Program, to name a few.
This year marks the sixth anniversary of “Sharing Happiness.”
“With the help of our partners, we want to reach more individuals every year,” stated SM Nazmus Sakib, adviser of Chitrokarkhana Three Six Zero.
