In a ceremonial event held at Sofir Uddin High School And College in Sylhet, the newly equipped smart classroom was officially inaugurated. Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, emphasized the importance of this contribution, highlighting its potential to provide local youth with access to cutting-edge science and technology resources. He encouraged students to seize the opportunity to excel academically, thus contributing to Bangladesh’s vision of a Smart Nation.
Expressing gratitude, Md. Roshid Ahmad, the school’s head, extended thanks to the Chinese embassy for their benevolent gesture and the ongoing support from the Chinese people towards the students.
The smart classroom is outfitted with state-of-the-art learning solutions featuring Huawei IdeaHub, offering both onsite and online teaching and learning platforms. Huawei South Asia has collaborated as the technical partner for this transformative educational endeavor. Pan Junfeng, president of Huawei South Asia Region and CEO of Huawei Bangladesh, reiterated their commitment to furthering the digitization of Bangladesh’s education sector.
This recent donation follows a similar contribution made in March when the Chinese embassy, in collaboration with Huawei South Asia, provided the first smart classroom to Chandpur Government Technical School And College.
