The event took place on Monday evening at the Magura Primary Teachers Training Institutes (PTI).

Winter clothes were handed over to 400 cold-hit people including indigenous people from Dalit, Mali, Majhi, Harijon communities along with people from occupations like hawkers and rickshaw-van pullers.

Magura municipality mayor Mr Makbul Hossain Makbul was the chief guest of the event. Other renowned public figures were present at the event as well.
Speakers welcomed such an event and Bashundahra was heavily praised for their initiatives.

Bashundhara distributed 600 blankets from 1000 on that day. The other 600 will be distributed later at Salikha and Sripur Upazila of Magura
