Banglalink holds closing ceremony for its mentoring program

Banglalink Womentor, a mentoring program for promising female engineering students in the country, has officially held the closing ceremony for the second batch of its recruits.

Monzula Morshed, chief human resources and administration officer, Banglalink, Hasnat Reza Mahbub Alam, acting chief technology officer, Banglalink and Ayesha Saeed, head of Talent Management, Banglalink delivered speeches for the departing batch at the ceremony. 

Inaugurated in 2020, Banglalink Womentor enables promising third and fourth-year female engineering students to receive training on corporate career development from experienced female engineers working at Banglalink, reads a press release.  

Following the opening of its application window in July 2021, Banglalink Womentor got overwhelming responses from enthusiastic participants from all over the country. 

A total of ten participants were selected for the program, and they were given the opportunity to have monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions with their respective mentors.

Along with acquiring knowledge of the technologies applied in the telecom industry, they learned the skills required to build careers in the corporate sector.
