Commencing on the second Friday of Ramadan, realme initiated iftar distributions, reaching out to at least 400 people in need. The first phase of the campaign unfolded in the heart of the capital, Dhanmondi area. This compassionate effort extended further on the third Friday of Ramadan, with realme once again providing iftar to at least 500 individuals, this time at Leedo Peace Home, an orphanage in Dhaka.
As the holy month progresses, realme plans to continue this initiative, sharing iftar with yet another group of people in need on the final Friday of Ramadan. More than just providing sustenance, this campaign embodies realme’s commitment to making a tangible difference. It transcends the mere act of breaking the fast; it serves as an opportunity to magnify the essence of Ramadan, spreading joy and happiness throughout the community.
Alen Chen, managing director of realme Bangladesh, expressed his enthusiasm, emphasizing how the “Sobar Jonne Iftar, Sobai Mile Iftar” event reflects their dedication to fostering positive social change and uplifting the community. Through collaborative CSR efforts with Together for Bangladesh, realme strives to address social challenges and create a brighter future for all.
